Royal Air Force
The Royal Air Force supports those undergraduate degrees for DSFC entry to DTUS universities that meet the UK Engineering Council’s standards as the exemplifying qualifications for registration as either a Chartered or Incorporate Engineer. Degrees are to be accredited by one or more of the 4 main engineering professional institutions:
Aerosystems (AS). AS candidates should have, or be studying for, degrees accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS), the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) or the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
Communication / Electronics (CE). CE candidates should have, or be studying for, degrees accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS) or IET; in certain circumstances, degrees accredited by the IMechE and RAeS may also be acceptable for entry to the CE sub-specialization.
Every effort has been made to ensure the degree lists for the DTUS universities are up to date and complete. However, where required, clarification on specific degrees or associated advice on career streaming may be obtained through CO Typhoon Sqn.
